Hannes Einsporn

Hannes is a Senior Project Manager for Migration and leads the Foundation’s work on the future of refugee and migrant protection and on climate change and human mobility. His expertise includes international refugee policy, climate migration, and international human rights and refugee law.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Hannes worked for several years in humanitarian and development aid, mainly in the Middle East, including the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Iran and with CARE on Iraq. Hannes is a social scientist with a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor’s degree from the Free University of Berlin.
