Dr. Stella Voutta

As a director in our Global Issues area, Stella is responsible for the Peace and Strategic Partnerships teams. The Peace program strengthens local peace actors in selected regions - the Western Balkans, the Sahel and the Middle East - and local peace work in general. With the Strategic Partnerships team, she supports organizations, including think tanks, working on cross-cutting challenges in the Global Issues area.
She has been with the Foundation since 2009, in a leadership position since 2013, and has worked in various capacities with a wide range of target groups and regions across national borders.
Stella studied Languages, Economics and Cultural Studies with a focus on Latin America. Parallel to her work at the Foundation, she completed a doctorate/PhD in cultural studies on "Political Theater in Brazil".
