Louisa Prause is Senior Expert for climate change. She does research, publishes, and speaks on the topic of socio-ecological transformations of the agro-food system. Her expertise includes questions of global justice, the role of digital technologies for just transitions and the international relations between Europe and Africa. She completed her PhD at Freie Universität Berlin on land and resource conflicts in West Africa, and her post-doctoral research at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin on the impacts of digitalization on nature and labor in food system transitions in Europe and Africa. She has also worked as a policy advisor for trade and investment politics at PowerShift e.V. and as a project manager at Citizens For Europe e.V.
