Christoph Kübel appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Robert Bosch Stiftung

Stuttgart, July 7 2021 – Christoph Kübel has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Robert Bosch Stiftung with immediate effect. Kübel is already a partner of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, having been appointed last year. He succeeds Dr. Christof Bosch, who has been a Member of the Board since 1997 and took on the role of Chairman in 2017. Bosch, the grandson of entrepreneur and founder Robert Bosch, will remain a Member of the Board of Trustees.

I am very much looking forward to working with him and am grateful that he is taking on this key position of responsibility. This will give me the opportunity to devote more of my time to other issues again,” said Dr. Christof Bosch. 

Up until the end of 2020, Christoph Kübel was a Member of the Board of Management and Director of Industrial Relations at Robert Bosch GmbH. In this role, he was also responsible for occupational safety, environmental protection and sustainability, legal services, compliance management, internal auditing, information security, and data privacy. Kübel began his career at Bosch more than 30 years ago in 1986 as a commercial trainee.
