Christiane works in the Climate Change team, focusing on climate, land use, and food systems in West Africa and West Asia. She is particularly fascinated by what drives and connects people—and how this understanding can be harnessed to promote sustainable land use and peacebuilding.
Before joining the Robert Bosch Stiftung, she spent several years working with German development organizations, as well as as a cultural manager in Morocco, collaborating with local partner organizations and the Goethe-Institut. She studied Cultural Studies at Leuphana University Lüneburg and at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.
