Additions to Robert Bosch Stiftung’s Management Board
Stuttgart/Berlin, September 1, 2017 - As of today, Sandra Breka and Dr. Hans-Werner Cieslik have joined Prof. Dr. Joachim Rogall and Uta-Micaela Dürig in managing the operations of the Robert Bosch Stiftung GmbH. Chairman of the four-person management team is Prof. Dr. Joachim Rogall (58), who has been working in the foundation sector for 25 years and joined the Management Board of Robert Bosch Stiftung in 2013. These changes to the board were adopted at the Foundation’s General Meeting on June 22, 2017.
Uta-Micaela Dürig (53), with over 20 years of experience in management roles at different companies and a member of the Management Board of the Robert Bosch Stiftung since July 2015, is the new Deputy Chairperson. In the new setup, she is responsible for the topic areas health, science, education, and society, as well as a special educational project in sub-Saharan Africa (ESSA).
The former head of the Berlin Representative Office, Sandra Breka (45), who joined the Foundation in 2001 after working at different institutions in the field of international relations, will in future be responsible for matters of international understanding and any content-related work of the Foundation’s Berlin office and the Robert Bosch Academy.
Dr. Hans-Werner Cieslik (57), who joined the Management of the Foundation in 2009 following many years of management roles with the Bosch Group, is Chief Financial Officer and as such responsible for law/compliance, finance, controlling, organization, and IT, as well as for the Robert Bosch Hospital and the medical research institutes.
