German School Barometer Students

Since 2019, the Robert Bosch Stiftung has regularly conducted representative surveys on the current situation of schools in Germany with the German School Barometer. For the first edition of the “German School Barometer: Pupils,” a total of 1,530 children and young people aged 8 to 17, as well as one parent each, were surveyed by the opinion research institute forsa between April 26 and May 20, 2024. The study was designed in cooperation with the University of Leipzig and in close collaboration with an interdisciplinary research team. It focused on two central aspects: the assessment of one's own psychological abnormalities and quality of life. The study also examined the connection between teaching and mental health. The study is written in German language.
