The Climate Justice Resilience Fund (CJRF) helps women, youth, and indigenous peoples adapt to climate change and build resilience by implementing and scaling sustainable climate solutions. It supports vulnerable communities to reduce risks, manage shocks, rebound, and continue charting a path to sustainable development in a changing climate. Its theory of change prioritizes community empowerment, policy advocacy, and movement-building, working from local to global. The CJRF works in three regions: coastal areas of the Bay of Bengal; dryland areas of East Africa; and the North American Arctic. With its grant, RBSG enables CJRF to expand its learning program, to strengthen its own storytelling as well as the communication capacities of its grantees, and to create and engage a community of philanthropic funders, intent on advancing climate justice and thereby increasing its strategic reach. The cooperation with the Climate Justice Resilience Fund (CJRF) is a nexus project. It involves the Robert Bosch Foundation’s topics climate change and inequality.
