Why are we running this project?
The integration migrants into society is one of the key topics for many governments witihin the European Union. Governments need future-looking integration policies in order to achieve social inclusion and therefore a sustainable integration of migrants into society.
What are our goals?
The Integration Futures Working Group is working to develop a fresh agenda for integration policy in Europe by bringing together senior integration policymakers and experts, civil-society officials, and private-sector leaders to create a platform for long-term strategic and creative thinking.
The project aims to provide the participating political decision-makers with new tools and approaches to address integration challenges in the context of current crises, such as the fading Covid pandemic, strong refugee immigration or the war in Ukraine.
How does the project work?
In its meetings and policy briefs, the Integration Futures Working Group deals with the challenges of social integration and participation. It discusses how expected trends in civil society and the media, but also unforeseeable major political events, influence integration policy in European countries.
