Details of the program and the call for applications
The Robert Bosch Stiftung launched an open call for applications for the funding program "Building Power for Economic Justice" at the end of 2024. The application process was designed to be inclusive and centered on lived experiences. A jury of experts with both professional expertise and personal experience in economic justice helped shape the selection criteria and ultimately chose the grantees. The foundation received nearly 1,000 applications, demonstrating the significant need for funding in this area. Applications were evaluated based on their approach to building collective power, with special interest in the areas of care, technology, wealth, and disability as an intersecting inequality. The strongest applications demonstrated how organizations tackle multiple forms of discrimination simultaneously while building solidarity across barriers of gender, class, race, and caste.
