ADD International

ADD (Action on Disability and Development) International is a participatory-grant maker and supports disability justice organizations and activists with funding and leadership skills to build powerful movements for change. The organization notably works with disability justice movements in Africa and Asia .

Center for Inclusive Policy

The Center for Inclusive Policy defines itself as a policy, research and training “think and do” tank that aims to make real, lasting changes by providing policy ideas, research, and support that focus on creating a more inclusive world.  The organization was created to     bring together advocates, decision-makers, and researchers to work on improving policies and systems for people with disabilities.

The Disability Rights Advocacy Fund (DRAF) supports organizations of persons with disabilities to advance the recognition of their rights as well as inclusive development. The Funds provide financial and technical resources to organizations of persons with disabilities in Africa, Asia, the Pacific Islands, and the Caribbean

Interessenvertretung Selbstbestimmt Leben e.V (ISL) e.V is a German cross-disability and self-advocating organisation for and led by people with disabilities. As an OPD, ISL is thriving for the implementation of principles of self-determination, empowerment, inclusion, participation, equal opportunities and accessibility in all areas of life in accordance with human rights frameworks. The organization gives lectures, expresses itself publicly in the media, organises political protests and, if necessary, takes legal action for the rights of disabled people.

Mad Thinking is an initiative led by disability activists and which is dedicated to creating spaces, tools, and opportunities to explore key questions about power, leadership, and solidarity in the disability movements. Mad Thinking strives to move beyond single-issue organizing by connecting disability activism with other social justice movements, and also commits to amplify marginalized voices within the Disability movement, particularly those from the global South, those experiencing multiple layers of marginalization and emerging activists and advocates.

Founded by Peter Fremlin, the Debrief puts a disability lens on world news. It is all about telling disability stories in new ways, by combining lived experience, research, and original reporting.
