Dr. Andreas Dammertz

Senior Expert

Dr. Andreas Dammertz is a Senior Expert for "Education in the Digital World" at the Robert Bosch Stiftung since June 2021. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic representation of his specialist area, both internally and externally, with a particular focus on:

  • AI and the digitalization of learning, formative assessment, and adaptive learning.
  • Scouting new and forward-looking topics, methods, and knowledge advancements.
  • International education, including engagement with education experts and philanthropic networks (e.g., IEFG, OECD), institutes, universities, and foundation fellows.
  • Designing and implementing learning journeys.
  • Knowledge management (e.g., Docupedia).

Prior to joining the Robert Bosch Stiftung, Dr. Dammertz was responsible for the "Robert Bosch Kolleg" program, the in-house university of Robert Bosch GmbH, from 2005 to 2021, based at the company's headquarters. He holds a Dr. phil. (Doctor of Philosophy) and pursued studies in Physics, Political Science, Sociology, and Philosophy at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
