By 2050, it is estimated that over 200 million people globally may be forced to leave their homes due to climate-related reasons. This panel confronts current efforts to address climate mobility and explores ways in which governments, practitioners, finance, and affected communities can collaboratively work towards just solutions for those who want to move, need to move, or choose to stay.
In the context of the 2025 United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3) in France, the Berlin Climate Mobility Forum, and COP30 in Brazil, the panel discussion aims to elevate shared priorities, advance common approaches, and inspire concrete engagements and partnerships to harness climate mobility.
