Perspektivy strengthens the building of international professional networks for Russian speaking journalists from Russia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, the Baltics and the Caucasus. The program aims to connect journalists, who are currently at the beginning and mid stages of their careers through “cross-border” collaborations. In teams, participants will work and produce a story together that transcends their own national borders. Possible topics include migration, climate change, food production and its export/import, media or civil society. Other topics are welcome. The teams will be supported in their work through distant mentoring by professional mentors and senior journalists. The program offers its candidates professional mentoring, assistance in the arrangement of research trips and reimbursement of their costs. Furthermore, travel costs, accommodations and per diems for the initial and completion workshops will also be covered.
