Berlin Climate Mobility Forum 2025

Berlin Climate Mobility Forum

The Berlin Climate Mobility Forum (BCMF) is a joint initiative organized by the Global Centre for Climate Mobility (GCCM) and the Robert Bosch Stiftung. A wide range of stakeholders participated in the inaugural forum in June 2025, including heads of state, ministers, secretaries of state, policymakers, practitioners, researchers, community representatives, and youth innovators.

The Forum aims to accelerate partnerships by enabling practical collaboration across sectors, regions, and constituencies, building a common agenda, and developing concrete approaches to address human mobility related to climate impacts, such as extreme weather events and rising sea levels.

It offers key stakeholders from across all levels of governance the opportunity to connect and contribute their expertise. In workshops on various regional approaches, informal exchanges, and discussions they can address actionable strategies to address the multifaceted challenges of climate mobility, the opportunities of multisectoral partnerships, as well as financing options for solutions. The Forum also emphasizes the importance of integrating climate mobility into climate adaptation strategies and highlights effective policies that can inform global, regional, and national frameworks.

The BCMF showcases innovative policymaking and financing solutions, amplifying the voices of affected communities, and demonstrating European leadership in addressing climate mobility.
