As a project manager in the democracy team, Anja has a focus on competencies for democratic culture. She is particularly interested in the question of how ambiguity tolerance and depolarisation skills can be promoted so that hostile and unproductive discourses can increasingly become constructive dialogues again. Anja studied Historically Orientated Cultural Studies in Saarbrücken and European Culture and Economy in Bochum. Stays abroad took her to the Netherlands, England and Sri Lanka.
