In cooperation with the Global Centre for Climate Mobility (GCCM), the Robert Bosch Stiftung is organizing the second Berlin Climate Mobility Forum (BCMF) on June 18 and 19 in Berlin. This high-level international conference is dedicated to addressing the urgent challenge of climate mobility.
The BCMF brings together leading stakeholders from around the world: heads of state, high-level government representatives, international experts, financial partners, and local decision-makers from the regions most affected by the impacts of climate change. The goal of the event is to link global commitments with the reality on the ground.
The forum focuses on:
Identifying common challenges and developing practical, scalable solutions.
Strengthening existing partnerships and initiating new collaborations that yield sustainable results.
Promoting the “Climate Mobility Principles,” which aim to align governments, the UN system, financial partners, and affected communities around shared priorities.
By translating these principles into a concrete agenda for adaptation in the field of climate mobility, we will identify pathways for actionable partnerships and effective measures.
The Berlin Climate Mobility Forum lays the groundwork for a coordinated global response to climate-induced mobility. By promoting shared principles and building strong partnerships, communities can be supported in adapting, staying wherever possible, and relocating with dignity when necessary.
