Dr. Stella Voutta

Stella is the team leader for the Peace funding topic at the Foundation. The funding topic focuses on strengthening local peace actors in selected regions - Western Balkans, Sahel, Middle East - and on local peace work in general. She joined the Foundation in 2009, became an executive in 2013, and has worked in various capacities with a wide range of target groups and regions across national borders.
Stella studied languages, economics and cultural studies with a focus on Latin America. Parallel to her work at the Foundation, she completed a PhD in Cultural Studies on "Political Theatre in Brazil".
