Talent im Land
Grants for gifted high school students from immigrant families in Baden-Württemberg. "Talent im Land" helps gifted, educationally ambitious, devoted and socially involved 8th- to 12th-graders from immigrant families to work towards their school-leaving examination (Abitur). The students receive a monthly stipend, personal advice, and access to a comprehensive range of educational offers. Through April 1, 2012.

"grips gewinnt" - Student Scholarship
To help change disadvantageous educational prospects for children and youths, we provide annual non-material and financial support to 50 students in the eighth grade or higher. Selection criteria include student potential, scholastic and extracurricular dedication, and the family’s social situation with the main goal of fostering potential talent and encouraging positive personal development. Lectureships at Universities in Eastern Europe and China
We provide fellowships for German-speaking university graduates with little work experience to teach and carry out projects at universities in Eastern Europe and China. The fellows receive systematic scientific training and then put their new skills into practice in cooperation with their host universities. As a result, the lecturers contribute to the dialog between Germany and its neighbors in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and China. Through February 28, 2012.

German-Japanese Elite Exchange Program
The scholarship program will allow highly qualified university students in any major to acquire a double Master’s degree in Tokyo and Halle-Wittenberg. The program - an initiative of the Robert Bosch Stiftung and the German National Academic Foundation - encompasses the comprehensive acquisition of language skills, specialized and regional knowledge, as well as an integrated internship in order to gain preliminary professional experience in Japan. Through April 1, 2012.

Bellevue Programme
We provide young executives in the highest government authorities with further qualifications, foreign experience and the opportunity for exchange with colleagues from other European countries. The following countries are participating in the project: Germany, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain. Up to 12 fellowships are provided each year. During a 12-month internship in a partner country, participants learn about their host country's administration structures and political decision making processes. Through March 30, 2012.

A program to foster quality analysis and reporting on economic issues in Southeastern Europe. Our aim is to enhance coverage on topics that are central to the region’s economic and political development and encourage regional networking among journalists. Travel Grants for Science Journalists
We provide fellowships for science journalists to participate in the science conference Euroscience Open Forum 2012. The Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF) 2012 will take place in Dublin (Ireland) in July 2012. The conference will offer the possibility to discuss current scientific topics with experts from all over Europe and argue for their relevance in science, politics, media and public. Through February 10, 2012.
The 2012 German-French Journalism Prize
The prize rewards high quality journalism and especially valuable contributions by German and French journalists in the areas of radio, television, print media, and the Internet. For the jury is critical, that the journalists have contributed to the advancement of German-French relations by either encouraging mutual understanding or by dealing with topics concerning the neighboring country or European questions. The prize aims at offering an incentive for journalists to deal thoroughly with the neighboring country, and to strengthen German-French news coverage. Through March 1, 2012.
EU Journalism Fellowship
This innovative training program helps young journalists gain experience in European Union policies and online media. The second edition of this program will start in spring 2012. Selected applicants will be invited to follow a week’s training in Berlin organized in cooperation with EurActiv Germany. Topics will include: How to turn EU stories local - and local stories European, ‘Europe 2020’, the EU's Digital Agenda, financial crisis and reforms as well as energy policy. Through February 15, 2012.

Scholarships
The Robert Bosch Stiftung offers many scholarship programs to support the training and continuing education of international junior executives and enable them to exchange experiences. A large proportion of our programs is directed towards university graduates and post-graduates from the USA and Europe. In addition, we support the integration of gifted migrant children with a special school scholarship program.
Prizes
The Robert Bosch Stiftung awards many prizes for exemplary ideas and initiatives in the fields of science, health, international relations, education, society and culture. The aim is to publicize outstanding projects and support their future development.
Competitions
The competitions organized by the Robert Bosch Stiftung are designed to help develop and disseminate good ideas in a number of different areas. The foundation also runs these international competitions to promote social and cultural exchange. Other competitions aim at fostering the development of schools and assisting the integration of young immigrants in German society.
Programs for Journalists
Journalists play a vital role as mediators by presenting a wide range of topics critically and comprehensibly, making them accessible to wide audiences. Journalists are important partners for the Robert Bosch Stiftung in coverage of science issues and in the field of international relations. We provide continuing education for journalists in the form of seminars, information tours, meetings, and research and study residencies.
