The German School Award
We award a prize to the best schools in Germany. In cooperation with the German weekly Stern and the public broadcasting network ARD, this 100,000 Euro prize honors outstanding pedagogic work and provides an important incentive for further development of schools and teaching in Germany. The winning school is selected by an expert jury in a selection process involving several stages.

Qualification "Service Assistants"
A pilot project offers an opportunity for school leavers with poor grades in their lower secondary school certificate: training as a service assistant in the social and health care sector. The program qualifies young people in the Stuttgart, Reutlingen and Augsburg regions for support activities in care for the elderly and disabled and in hospitals. Application period ends August 15.
Cultural Manager
We award scholarships for cultural managers in Syria and Saudi Arabia. The cultural managers work at Dialogue Points of the Goethe-Institut in the Arab World in Aleppo (Syria) and Djidda (Saudi Arabia). Application period ends September 10.

Integration of Young Migrants
Many children and youth of immigrant families experience greater difficulties in developing their talents than other young people of their own age. This is why we instituted Integration of Young Migrants, a program that supports promising project ideas for integrating these young people in kindergartens, schools, and leisure activities.

Is your research team concerned with issues related to the sustainable use of renewable natural resources? Are you working together with Chinese colleagues, and would you like to prepare or carry out additional or follow-up projects? With our program "Sustainable Partners - Partners for Sustainability" we want to offer you a long-term planning horizon for an intense bilateral cooperation with Chinese research teams. Public Awareness for Voluntary Work
The "Journalistenpreis Bürgerschaftliches Engagement" is awarded by the Robert Bosch Stiftung to create more public awareness for the efforts of voluntary workers in their communities. The prize is awarded for articles, news reports and editorials that focus on how and why people assume responsibility for themselves and others. In addition to reports in German-language daily and weekly newspapers, the competition is also open to magazine articles, radio reports, and TV reports.
German Harkness Fellowship Program in Health Care Policy and Practice
We award future leaders in the health professions funding for a one-year research residency in the United States. Applications from Germany must be submitted by September 13, 2010.
Civic Education
The Robert Bosch Stiftung gladly accepts inquiries regarding funding and support in the context of civic education. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your suggestions and ideas.
Cooperation Program Belarus
The "Cooperation Program Belarus" also in 2010 wants to support micro-projects that promote German-Belarussian cooperation with the aim to overcome the isolation of Belarus in Europe.

Scholarships
The Robert Bosch Stiftung offers many scholarship programs to support the training and continuing education of international junior executives and enable them to exchange experiences. A large proportion of our programs is directed towards university graduates and post-graduates from the USA and Europe. In addition, we support the integration of gifted migrant children with a special school scholarship program.
Prizes
The Robert Bosch Stiftung awards many prizes for exemplary ideas and initiatives in the fields of science, health, international relations, education, society and culture. The aim is to publicize outstanding projects and support their future development.
Competitions
The competitions organized by the Robert Bosch Stiftung are designed to help develop and disseminate good ideas in a number of different areas. The foundation also runs these international competitions to promote social and cultural exchange. Other competitions aim at fostering the development of schools and assisting the integration of young immigrants in German society.
Programs for Journalists
Journalists play a vital role as mediators by presenting a wide range of topics critically and comprehensibly, making them accessible to wide audiences. Journalists are important partners for the Robert Bosch Stiftung in coverage of science issues and in the field of international relations. We provide continuing education for journalists in the form of seminars, information tours, meetings, and research and study residencies.
