About the project
The program aims at high school students in Germany between 15 and 17 years of age who are not in the school track leading up to university and have not previously been able to travel to the United States. They not only apply their English skills but also get to know US-American culture and the concept of community service in an active civil society. After returning from the U.S., the students are expected to serve as multipliers and share their experiences with their peers, e.g. through presentations at school, as well as engage in volunteer activities.
