In brief

About the project

The young generation grows up in a globalized, complex and interdependent world. What kind of competences do they need to develop into citizens who actively contribute to society and live responsibly in our globalized world? What can schools contribute as the key place of education?

The pedagogical concept of "global learning" meets the educational demands of today and fosters the development of responsible global citizens. So far, however, the practical implementation of global learning in schools has yet to be researched in depth.

The aim of the study is to gain an overview of school strategies in dealing with globalization, identify conducive and obstructive conditions, and develop approaches for implementing global learning.
