Why are we running this project?
A democratic society thrives when its citizens assume responsibility within it and for it. People who are prepared to help others play an important role in improving our life together in society as a whole. At the same time, people who work for a cause with conviction and passion often break new ground and come up with creative solutions to social challenges.
What are our goals?
With the Responsible Citizens network, we want to present these people to the public and promote the effectiveness of their commitment. As part of our activities honoring Robert Bosch’s 150th birthday in 2011 a total of 150 people were selected as Responsible Citizens. Their activities encompass a wide variety of different projects and approaches. But what unites them is their commitment to a social cause and their willingness to assume responsibility.
How does the project work?
Since 2015 Robert Bosch Stiftung offers 10 to 15 participants a development program to work intensively on organizational questions. For this purpose, the participants receive an analysis of their organizations, trainings and organizational development measures as well as peer-to-peer coachings. 2017 started a new group of participants.
