In Brief

About the Project

In the initiative „ Schools Exchange for Success“ specialist and funding agencies of international Youth Work have joined forces with the aim to strengthen the international student and youth exchange as a valuable place of education and to make it a natural part of school education.

Young people’s life is shaped by international experience, exchange programs and stays abroad. They strengthen their self-confidence, promote team spirit, open-mindedness and enable them to improve their language skills. International school exchange supports the long-term understanding of global interrelations, helps to achieve educational goals and enhances social cohesion.
Therefore, exchange is one of the most sustainable educational offers for children and young people.   School is the central place to win young people over.

In the initiative „ Schools Exchange for Success” various specialist and funding agencies of international youth work have come together.
Along with the Pädagogischen Austauschdienst (PAD) and other supporter they promote the participation in exchange programs for all children and young people – regardless of gender, religion, origin, physical and mental abilities, social and economic conditions – because exchange should be a natural part of school education in Germany.
