In Brief

About the project

People are moved by questions of religion and its role in society, regardless of whether they are Muslim, Jewish, or Christian, religious or not religious. The cultural lives of Muslims and the theological aspects of Islam are an ongoing component of public debate.

The Muslim Academy Heidelberg and the Muslim Academy Erlangen are intended to provide qualified Muslim contact points and service providers for societal stakeholders that are located at the interface between faith, science, and society. As a platform for a wide variety of Muslim and non-Muslim voices, the academies are the source of important impulses for relevant questions about coexistence in our society.
