Living with Chronic Conditions

Leben mit Krankheit
Chronic ailments impact many aspects of life and cause patients to be continuously faced with particular challenges. These challenges cannot be overcome by the trained caregivers alone; instead, they demand that patients take action and responsibility for themselves. With our support, we want to help patients to do this and enable them to tackle problems.
Additionally, within the field of Living with Disease, we promote approaches that take the special needs of patients with rare chronic diseases into account, thus contributing to greater equity in health care.
