Global Media

Das Thema Medien Global in der Robert Bosch Stiftung
Media professionals report on relevant topics and trigger debate: This makes them vital players in matters of social discourse and international understanding. Our international media programs have been set up to support dedicated media professionals who are committed to high standards of journalism and pursue innovative approaches in dealing with the media change and social issues.
Against the background of global challenges such as social polarization, migration, and climate change, multilateral collaboration plays a vital role.

To contribute to a nuanced media coverage and to strengthen media professionals across borders in their social commitment, our support focuses on three elements that our programs strive to incorporate:
At the core of our programs is the multilateral collaboration and the setup of an international network of innovative media professionals who can then enter into an exchange, learn from each other, and share in each other’s commitment to specific causes.
As needed, we promote journalistic skills, based on an approach that prioritizes the far-reaching change in the media scene and the current social challenges around the world.

Combined with the qualification offerings and international networking opportunities, our programs facilitate cross-border research as the foundation of a nuanced coverage of topics.
