Global Governance Futures

We bring young leaders from different professional sectors together to look ahead to the year 2030 and consider the futures of global order, of global migration and refugee crises, and of the roles of cities in global governance. 27 fellows will be selected from Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Africa, and the United States. Media Ambassadors India-Germany

Indian journalists get the chance to travel to Germany as Media Ambassadors from May to July 2018. The program includes a monthly allowance as well as an academic media and area studies course at the Center for Media Competence of the University of Tübingen, an extensive cultural program, a field trip in Germany and a job-shadowing in a German newsroom. Crossing Borders

We provide international research grants to German speaking authors, filmmakers, and photographers who address current social issues and who seek to reflect their impact on different cultures and societies. We welcome applications both from newcomers and from established media creators. Apply through October 31, 2017.

We support the Elmar-Tophoven-Mobility-Fund that is targeted at literary translators with the language combination French and German. The fund sponsors international work stays and provides financial resources for events that present the translators's projects.

Exchange Program for German and French Young Journalists

We invite young journalists from France, Germany, and another country to seminars and offer them internships in a German or French editorial office. Media companies and journalism schools can suggest eligible candidates, a direct application is not possible.

Yallah! Dedicated Young Muslims

We support projects carried out by young Muslims and creative ideas that show just how diverse "our Islam" is in Germany. Projects and initiatives conducted by young Muslims between 16 and 30 years of age who want to change something in their living environment can now apply for funding. The young people should apply as well as organize and carry out the projects themselves.
