Civil Society

Zivilgesellschaft
We view civil society as that part of a society in which people carry out activities for the common good beyond state institutions and the business sector. A democratic, social, and solidly united municipality can only prosper when its citizens take responsibility for themselves and others in their community.
It is built on the backs of those who work for a cause with conviction and passion, often break new ground, and come up with creative solutions to social challenges.

Based on this belief, we pursue two goals when carrying out activities in Civil Society:
Strengthening Civil Society
We want to strengthen players in civil society in their organizational and personnel-related competencies and expand their access to resources. We support their ability to innovate and look forward to recommended projects on new topics, solution approaches, and forms of commitment that go beyond the ordinary.
Civil Society and Solidarity
We want to support civic involvement, in particular, wherever it faces social and societal challenges and contributes to overcoming these challenges. We particularly support the development of approaches aimed at strengthening cohesion in a diverse society.
We are active in the following projects
Diversity Workshop Projects for a Lively Community
