Intensifying German-Turkish Relations: Program for Journalists
Every year, this program offers workshops for German and Turkish journalists. The groups selected in the application process participate in a three-part program consisting of two weekend forums in their home countries and a one-week trip through Germany and Turkey respectively. At all three events, the participating journalists meet important representatives from politics, business, society and the media. They can reassess their own outlook and gain first-hand background information. The aim of the program is to promote unprejudiced reporting on the partner country. A dedicated website provides participants with the latest information and dossiers and facilitates exchange after the annual program has been completed.
Both projects are organized by KulturForum TürkeiDeutschland in Cologne.
