The German Senior Citizens’ Awards

Join us in celebrating long life!

The elderly of today are pioneers for the generation of tomorrow. They break stereotypes and successfully change social clichés. The Robert Bosch Stiftung launched the German Senior Citizens’ Awards to celebrate the extra years of life we have gained.

Patron Manuela Schwesig, Federal Minister for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, on the German Senior Citizens’ Awards:
"The German Senior Citizens’ Awards draws attention to excellent examples of life in old age and demonstrates how committed older people are to leading an active life, but also how people can make concerted efforts to effect change with and on behalf of senior citizens. I believe it is important to make evident the ways in which commitment can serve to bolster intergenerational cohesion."
