International Guest Program Nursing and Health

The international guest program enables executive staff in the health care and nursing professions to spend up to three months in a foreign country with accompanying support to observe local practices and exchange know-how for personal and career development purposes. The foundation subsidizes travel, board and lodging expenses. The program also provides organizational support, intensive preparatory and follow-up courses to optimize the benefits for program participants, and access to a global network of health care institutions. Particular importance is attached to the transfer of the know-how acquired abroad into everyday health care practice.

The guest program targets leading and teaching staff in the health care sector who regard specialist research at model institutions abroad as helpful for their practical work in Germany. The guest program is organized by the University of Witten/Herdecke G-Plus Center.
