Health Pays – Robert Bosch Stiftung presents successful examples from German schools
Stuttgart, April 25, 2006. Health promotion must become a core responsibility of schools to combat such worrying trends in young people as lack of physical activity, obesity, lack of motivation, and drug abuse, all of which impair the ability and willingness of many students to achieve. Teachers and students frequently do nothing because they do not know what to do. But there is hope. 54 schools from across Germany participated in the "Gesunde Schule" (Healthy School) program of the Robert Bosch Stiftung.
