Wir reden mit!

Robert Bosch Stiftung Launches Initiative for Greater Tolerance in High Schools

If you live in Germany, your opportunities in personal life, education and on the labor market will be far better, if you speak German. This is precisely where the newly-launched Robert Bosch Stiftung "Wir reden mit!" initiative comes in. With the aim of promoting linguistic and social competence, the foundation and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sport have jointly launched a project for greater tolerance among school students from different backgrounds (immigrant or otherwise) at local high schools. Grade 5 and 6 high school classes in Baden-Württemberg can apply for grants of up to 1500 euros. The deadline for applications is November 30, 2006.
