People: Dr. Peter Theiner Receives Medal from French Government

Stuttgart, July 17, 2006 – Dr. Peter Theiner, the head of the International Relations Western Europe, USA program area of Robert Bosch Stiftung and Managing Director of its subsidiary DVA-Stiftung, was today presented with the French "Officier dans l'Ordre des Palmes Académiques" medal by French Consul General Henri Reynaud. The medal is bestowed by the French government in honor of outstanding service to education, culture, humanities, and the arts. Peter Theiner has been program director at Robert Bosch Stiftung since 1995 and has also directed the foundation’s programs devoted to promoting Franco-German relations. Robert Bosch Stiftung considers this a great honor and an obligation to continue to focus on Franco-German relations as intensely as ever.
