Europa21. Thinking Tomorrow’s Society

Europa21 - Rückblick 2016

Program focus of the Robert Bosch Stiftung and Leipzig Book Fair on immigration and integration (March 17–20, 2016, Leipzig)

The program focus “Europa21. Thinking Tomorrow’s Society”, initiated in 2016 by the Robert Bosch Stiftung and the Leipzig Book Fair, has been set up for three years. In the first edition, writers, academics, journalists, and civically engaged citizens from different countries discussed the context of the refugee movement and related challenges. The discussions looked at various aspects of immigration and integration as well as the role of literature, the media and religion with the aim of contributing to a more objective debate on refugees in Europe.

The literary critic and publicist Insa Wilke is curator of the project.
