Developing Germany's science sector

Many programs and initiatives of the Robert Bosch Stiftung are dedicated to promoting excellence in science and research. We encourage young people to take an interest in science and the liberal arts in preparation for a career as scientists and scholars.

We also help strengthen Germany's science sector by bringing top-level researchers back to Germany and Europe, and we also help women build careers in science and research. We support dialog between science and society at the national and international levels and arrange meetings and exchanges between researchers. In addition, we are dedicated to fostering high quality and professionalism in the field of science journalism. Our own institutes conduct research in the fields of clinical pharmacology, the social history of medicine, and the history of homeopathy. We have also conducted research in the field of nursing for many years. We cooperate with the Robert-Bosch-Krankenhaus to test new methods in practice.
