Nursing Partnerships for Qualifications in Central and Eastern Europe
This program supports health care institutions and private initiatives that focus on improving qualifications in the health professions. Approximately 120 projects have been funded to date. Brief descriptions of these projects will be published soon on this page. The projects extend across 15 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, most notably Rumania, Bulgaria, the Baltic States, Poland, and Russia, and focus mainly on guest students, internships and training programs aimed at improving the care of disabled persons, the development of outpatient and home care programs and training programs for elderly care. Many of the supported projects feature an interdisciplinary thrust in their training programs.
