Stuttgarter Schlossgespräche
Stuttgarter Schlossgespräche is an international and interdisciplinary conference run jointly by the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations - ifa) and the Robert Bosch Stiftung. The conference is held annually and addresses different social issues, for instance immigration and integration, bioethics, crisis prevention, cultural globalization, the return to faith, and the European city.
The participants - experts from the worlds of science, media, politics, and culture – engage in round-table discussions and discuss the issues concerned with the audience. The aim is to analyze the status quo and recommend action based on international exchange and comparison. Each conference forms the basis for a separate issue of the publication "Zeitschrift für KulturAustausch", which draws on and expands upon the issues discussed at the conference, with articles by participants and other authors.
