Berlin Office

The Berlin Office of the Robert Bosch Stiftung is located on the premises of the Berlin Branch of Robert Bosch GmbH in the Charlottenburg quarter of Berlin. The Berlin Office has become a fixed port of call for the foundation’s project partners, scholarship holders and alumni. The Berlin Office organizes many different kinds of events to foster interest in the foundation's work among young people and hosts conferences like the "Berliner Demographiegespräche" and "Politischer Dialog."

The building at Bismarckstraße 71 was erected by Robert Bosch, who lived here in a small apartment, during World War I. He sponsored social initiatives here like the Deutsche Hochschule für Politik run by Friedrich Naumann and Theodor Heuss. Heuss was later to become the first president of the Federal Republic of Germany.
