Yallah! Dedicated Young Muslims

Dedicated Young Muslims

Young Muslims are a part of Germany - and they do a lot for this society, including organizing festivals or talks about a variety of topics, taking care of children, and helping out at neighborhood festivals. This commitment is important to us all, and it can change the image of Islam in Germany. The Robert Bosch Stiftung funds projects carried out by young Muslims and supports creative ideas that show just how diverse "our Islam" is in Germany.

In this context, the Foundation supports projects and initiatives conducted by young Muslims between 16 and 30 years of age who want to change something in their living environment, such as doing volunteer work for senior citizens or through discussion events at the youth center. The requirement is that the project cannot be limited to their own club or community, but instead must be open to other (Muslim and non-Muslim) people. The young people should apply for support as well as organize and carry out the projects themselves.

The Foundation will provide from 500 to 5,000 euros in funding for the selected projects. In addition, we will invite those responsible to a two-day project management seminar, where the participants will improve their skills in topics like handling proposals, managing funds, and public relations.

All the information required for applying can be found in the current call for applications (in the right-hand column).
