For a Better Cooperation in Lower Secondary Schools
The aim is to foster good relations between lower secondary school students with and without migrant backgrounds and help students improve their language and social skills. Financial support is available for projects that improve students' command of spoken German and can preferably be incorporated into classroom teaching as permanent curriculum components.
Lower secondary school classes from fifth to eighth grade in Baden-Württemberg were eligible for support in this program.
In 2008/2009, a total of 16 projects was selected for support. From these projects the three best projects were selected by the jury and receive an additional prize endowment of 500 euros, 300 euros, and 150 euros.
