German-Japanese Relations

Japan is Germany's most important partner in Asia. Both countries are influential players in their respective regions and both face similar challenges. The foundation's programs which focus on German-Japanese relations are intended to promote dialog between Germans and Japanese and regenerate interest in the partner country.

Promoting Europe
We are dedicated to promoting confidence in the future of the European Union and fostering enthusiasm for the concept of “Europe”. Our approach is to establish forums where the citizens of Europe can meet and exchange views, to encourage dialog about differences and shared experiences, and to motivate people to act together to master the challenges facing the European Union.
