EDAM Roundtable

Since 2005 the Robert Bosch Stiftung has supported a platform that gives European and Turkish decision-makers the ability to discuss global issues equally relevant to both the EU and Turkey - the EDAM Roundtable. High-ranking international experts, such as Kemal Derviş, Ahmet Davutoğlu, Pascal Lamy, or Carl Bildt initiate the confidential roundtable discussions. The event is held annually either in Bodrum or Istanbul.

In October 2011, the EDAM Roundtable focused, among other topics, on the global reactions to the economic and financial crisis, and the issue of Turkey being a possible role model for the nations in the Middle East and North Africa. Selected participants were also available for interviews with members of the Turkish media during the conference.

The EDAM Roundtable is carried out by the Centre for Economics and Foreign Policy Studies (EDAM), a think tank in Istanbul.
