A Program for the Qualification of Excellent Young Academic Talent for Research and Teaching in Education in Early Childhood.

Today, the importance of education in early childhood for an individual’s personal development is uncontested: the first years are decisive! Thankfully, most people are now in agreement that the education and training of kindergarten teachers must occur at universities and technical colleges. In the last five years alone, over 60 bachelor’s and master’s degree programs have been created throughout Germany.

However, research and training in education in early childhood in Germany have, up until now, only been developed marginally. That is why there is a foreseeable dearth of qualified young academics at colleges and universities.
