The Mid-Term Program (LTP) of “Civic Education in Action”

We offer the opportunity of an eight to ten week internship at a German educational organization. You will develop a project about the social or political situation in your home country together with a partner at a German educational organization with whom we will put you into contact. You may be as imaginative and creative as you wish: from expositions and documentation to teaching materials and workshops the possibilities are endless. What projects will prove feasible in the end, will be determined by you and the host organiza-tion.

The eight to ten weeks needn’t all be spent in Germany at one time. If it better suits your work or time schedule, you can come twice to Germany for four or five week long internships, for example. Your project will then be presented to the public during the Civic Education Campaign Days 2011. Civic Education in Action is the most important campaign for civic education in Germany.
