The Degree Program Master of Arts in Management
A Practice-Oriented Degree in Project Competence
The MA in Management degree program combines theory and practice in a company-based project that every student completes as a management assistant in a company, supported by lecturers at their respective universities. The master thesis is a practice-oriented and scientifically substantiated documentation of the implementation of the project.
The course targets qualified university graduates who have completed their initial course of study, want to start their career on the labor market and develop their competencies further.
Program Contents
The MA in Management degree program focuses on professional project management and combines business management studies with full-time work in a company. Students learn „soft skills“ (leadership, rhetorics etc.) and acquire key competencies in business administration in specialist seminars. These seminars cover economics, law, project management and organization, entrepreneurship, market analysis, strategic planning, marketing, logistics and international management (11-day study in Brazil or China).
During their practical training in the central administration of the Robert Bosch Stiftung, students work in the areas financial planning, accounting, information technology, project monitoring, controlling, reporting, human resources and continuing education organization.
The program extends over 24 months during which students must attend app. thirty 2-3-day seminars. The teaching languages are German and English.
