Youth and Europe – Students Write for Newspapers
The project “Youth and Europe – Students Write for Newspapers” is organised in cooperation with the German-French Youth Institution (DFJW) since 2003. During their regular school exchange programs, French and German pupils together write articles on European topics, which are then published in the respective daily newspapers in their home regions in Germany and France. In the subsequent competition, a jury awards prizes to the best articles. The winners are invited to a festive awards ceremony in Berlin or Paris.
The project is aimed at students aged between 11 and 18. The DFJW subsidizes the travel costs of the participating school classes.
Detailed information and application documents are available at the DFJW website (see “More Information”).
