Application Procedure
Please read these notes carefully before submitting your application and refer to the FAQ section before contacting us. The following is an overview of the application procedure:
February 28, 2010
Close of applications
To be considered in the selection procedure, your complete application materials must be sent to us on time (date of postmark) by post. If you want to be contacted by post once your application has reached us, please include a self-addressed stamped postcard. We will mail it to you when we receive your application.
Mid-March 2010
Invitations to the selection interviews sent out
Applicants not selected initially will be informed by e-mail at the end of March. These applicants may be selected at a later stage if other candidates withdraw.
March 23-26, 2010
Selection interviews at the Robert Bosch Stiftung in Stuttgart
The selection interviews will typically be held in groups of three and will be approximately 45-60 minutes long. The selection committee is composed of representatives of the Robert Bosch Stiftung, the Osteuropazentrum, and the University of Hildesheim. The group interview is not intended to test group dynamics.

Letters of acceptance sent out
Some acceptance letters may not be sent until July due to short-term changes at the host universities.
May to July 2010
In some cases, additional selection interviews may be held.
Mid-July 2010

Rejection letters and application documents returned to unsuccessful applicants
June 27 – July 4 2010
Preparatory seminar
Introduction to the program and training in methodology and teaching practice for the selected lecturers for the academic year 2010/11 in Kreisau, Poland (attendance obligatory)
August, 2010
Summer school
One-week training seminar for the different profiles; intensive language courses may be organized individually; departure of lecturers to host countries.
For reasons of planning security, you are requested to let us know immediately by e-mail of any changes in your address or telephone number or of the withdrawal of your application. Due to the large number of applicants, we regret that we cannot provide further information by telephone except in emergencies.
