Kiev Dialog

The Kiev Dialog (Kiewer Gespräche) serves as a German-Ukrainian dialog platform for representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), the research sector, media and politics to discuss issues affecting civil society.

The Kiev Dialog originated in November 2005 in Berlin as a joint initiative of the Robert Bosch Stiftung and the NGO European Exchange (Europäischer Austausch) themed "Civil Society and Democratic Change."

The Kiev Dialog is held under the patronage of:
Hryhoriy Nemyria, Deputy Chairman of the BYuT parliamentary group,
Dr. Myroslav Popovych, Director of the Institute of Philosophy with the NAS of Ukraine,
Dr. Bärbel Kofler, President of the German-Ukrainian parliamentary group and Member of the German Bundestag, as well as
Rebecca Harms, Member of the European Parliament.

The conferences are organized in cooperation with the Ukrainian foundation PAUCI, the German Association on East European Studies (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Osteuropakunde), the Deutsche Welle radio network, the European Exchange and the non-governmental think tank Razumkov Center.

The Dialog takes place in a rotational rhythm every year in Kiev or Berlin.
The 6th Kiev Dialog will be held from October 28 to 30, 2010, in Kiev under the title "Corruption in Policy, Economy and Administration – Civil society and international contradictional strategies".
