Public Awareness for Voluntary Work
Journalistenpreis Bürgerschaftliches Engagement and Marion-Dönhoff-Förderpreis
The "Journalistenpreis Bürgerschaftliches Engagement" and the Marion-Dönhoff-Förderpreis are awarded by the Robert Bosch Stiftung each year. With these awards, the Robert Bosch Stiftung is honoring authors who have made outstanding media contributions on the topic of "civic involvement" as well as emphasizing the importance of civic involvement to the future of our society. The awards are given to articles, news reports, and editorials that focus on how and why people voluntarily assume responsibility for themselves and others. The competition is open to all journalists active in the print media, radio, and television industries.
The 2011 award ceremony took place in Stuttgart on December 3.
